The Beach Tulum is the ultimate boutique hotel in Tulum, one of the most sought-after locations in Mexico: the Riviera Maya, Mexixan Caribbean. Tulum is in the state of Quintana Roo, on the eastern part of the Yucatán Peninsula: Yucatan’s spectacular coastline allows you to admire both the Caribbean Sea (to the east) and the Gulf of Mexico (to the north).
Tulum is not only the site of a pre-Culumbian Mayan walled city considered a major port for Coba, but also one of the last areas inhabited by Mayas. Today, it is one of Mexico’s best-preserved coastal Maya sites.
How to reach The Beach Tulum Hotel
You will find The Beach Tulum along the Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila at km 7.2 in Tulum’s Zona Hotelera. You can reach the hotel from Playa del Carmen or Cancun Intl. Airport by taking the only available highway south (307): it will guide you toward Tulum-Chetumal. You will only need to follow the signposts along the way and keep in mind that the hotel is about a two hours drive from the airport.
After passing the Tulum archeological sites, you will pass the Starbucks and Domino’s Pizza on your right, and right after, you will see a small plaza (Super Aki). Take a left at the stop light towards Tulum Hotel Zone. Drive straight down this road. You will see some buildings and shops through this route, such as the Red Cross and the Tulum Police Station. Keep going for about two miles and at the fork, keep right. Keep driving for about two more miles down this beach road. On your way, you will see some shops and hotels. You will see a convenient store called “GoMart” on your right. Once past that, you’ll run into a speed bump. Start slowing down as the entrance to The Beach Tulum Hotel will be about 200 feet, after the speed bump on your right.
You will find the signs for Cabanas Tulum, Fresco’s, Ziggy Beach Club, Ziggy’s Restaurant.
